Our Equine programming is a method of treatment for addiction. During equine programming, participants interact with horses on an interpersonal level, which brings many benefits. There are several types of equine programming, including programming where patients ride horses, and others where patients spend more time caretaking for these sweet animals. Our rehabilitation programs incorporate equine programming in which participants take care for and rid horses. Some of the many benefits include improvement of personal responsibilities, pride in completion of tasks, reduction of stress, improved overall motor function, lowered blood pressure and improved overall health (outside activities are individually based; participants must meet requirements, staff attended). Equine Programming takes place a Gibson Farm, Trail’s End Conservancy, INC.
